Petra Besedová

Petra Besedová is an associate professor at the Department of German Language and Literature of the Pedagogical Faculty at the University of Hradec Králové. Her primary research area is the didactics of foreign languages in the context of non-linguistic disciplines, i.e., music, literary texts, cultural studies in foreign language education, etc. She closely collaborates with the National Pedagogical Institute of the Czech Republic, where she contributes to the revisions of the curriculum for the German language. She also works with the neurological clinic of the University Hospital Hradec Králové, participating in research on memory in foreign language learning. Internationally, she collaborates with prestigious universities such as the University of Würzburg (Germany), the University of Eichstätt (Germany), the University of Graz (Austria), the University of Zielona Gora (Polen), and others.
