Pedro Melo Rodrigues

Pedro Miguel Santos Melo Rodrigues holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. He is a Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda since 1993 and responsible for LABMIA since 2010. Since 1993, it has been carrying out analytical work in the environmental area, namely in quality control through physical-chemical and microbiological analysis of water, soil, leaf and air, among others. He has extensive laboratory experience in several analytical techniques, such as, for example, spectroscopy (atomic absorption, UV-vis, FTIR), chromatography (gas and HPLC), potentiometry, as well as several microbiological techniques.
