About Us

Payam Soltani

Payam Soltani completed his PhD in Nonlinear Structural Dynamics in 2012. Since then, he has served in academia in Iran, Belgium and UK. He has an outstanding research record in piezoelectric-based smart structures; this includes the projects carried out at the University of Brussels and the University of Liege, Belgium. Dr Soltani is now a Senior Lecturer and the Course Lead of Mechanical Engineering at Birmingham City University, UK.
