Paulo Barroso is an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (Portugal), College of Education, Department of Communication and Art, teaching Strategic Communication, Sociology of Communication, Semiotics, Theories of Communication, Ethics and Deontology; PhD in Philosophy (University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain), Post-Doctoral Researcher in Communication Sciences (University of Minho, Portugal) between 2007 and 2013 and presently integrated researcher at NOVA Institute of Communication – NOVA University of Lisbon (School of Social Sciences and Humanities) with the ORCID identifier number 0000-0001-7638-5064.
