Paul Wheeler

Paul Wheeler is Senior Lecturer and the Programme Coordinator for the BA (Hons) Sport Management (Business) degree. His research expertise is the history of sport: His doctorate critically analysed the evolution of Golf Tourism on the South Coast of England from 1880-1939. Paul is part of various sports history-related research projects, independently and in collaboration with colleagues within this university, other universities and non-academics. Paul liaises with community groups and local partnerships to provide them with expert sport management advice that will assist them in the operation and organisation of projects and facilities.
