Panagiota Koutsimani

Panagiota Koutsimani is a Cognitive Neuropsychologist. Her main interests include the examination of the factors that affect the cognitive performance of both underage and adult populations, such as chronic stress and brain injuries. Panagiota Koutsimani is also doing research in clinical neuropsychology. Currently, she is a post-doctoral researcher on the School of Psychology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where she examines the sleep trajectories of older individuals and the consequent onset of mild cognitive impairment and dementia. She also works as an Adjunct Lecturer on the School of Psychology at the University of Western Macedonia. She has published her research in scientific journals and she has presented her research work in conferences. Her PhD thesis has received the “Maria Nasiakou” award from the Hellenic Psychological Society. She is a member of the Hellenic Psychological Society and the Hellenic Neuropsychological Society, and is also Treasurer of the Hellenic Neuropsychological Society.
