Ondřej Roubal

Ondřej Roubal , Ph.D. is Associate Professor of Sociology, the Vice-Rector for the Development and Research and the guarantor of the Marketing Communication study programme at the University of Finance and Administration in Prague, Czech Republic. Through lecturing and his research work, he tries to discuss and further develop sociological, anthropological and psychological knowledge on the life of society in terms of marketing communication practice. His aim is to create a profile of the sociology of marketing communication via interdisciplinary approaches. He regularly publishes in the field of current problems of late modernity related to consumer culture and consumer decision making, individualism, hedonism, construction of identities and seeking happiness within the conditions of material abundance.
