Oluibukun Gbenga Ajayi

Oluibukun Gbenga Ajayi is a Senior Lecturer in Geoinformation Technology at the Namibia University of Science and Technology. He is a registered Surveyor with over a decade of research-led University teaching experience. He was Nigeria's Young Geoenvironmental Scientist of the year in 2022 and the recipient of the Len Curtis Award jointly presented by Taylor and Francis Inc., and the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society (RSPSoc), UK, for an outstanding technical paper, which was adjudged the best scientific paper published in the open literature of remote sensing during the year 2017. He holds a PhD in Surveying and Geoinformatcs from the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMinna), and a Masters degree (Distinction) with a Bachelor of Technology (First class honours) both in Surveying and Geoinformatics from the University of Lagos, and FUTMinna, Nigeria, respectively. His research interests include geospatial intelligence and remote sensing applications.
