Olivia Truban

Olivia Truban (M.A.) is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Maryland in the public relations and strategic communication track. She received her B.A. in Communication Studies from James Madison University and her M.A. in Communication with concentrations in health communication and public relations from Johns Hopkins University. Her current research explores internal communication, crisis communication, and ethics in public relations. She teaches communication courses at the University of Maryland, Northern Virginia Community College, and the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
