Norsiah Abdul Hamid

Norsiah Abdul Hamid is an Associate Professor at the School of Multimedia Technology and Communication, Universiti Utara Malaysia. She obtained her Doctoral degree in Information Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her areas of interest include media psychology, women and gender, and knowledge society. She has published two books which discussed the state-of-the-art of knowledge society, and the emergence and issues of social media in Malaysia. She is currently working on her third book on media psychology, which will focus on underprivileged communities.
