Noman H. Chowdhury

Norman Chowdhury is an experienced academic and industry professional with a rich blend of exposure in business analytics, organizational behavior, information systems, and quantitative methods. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes Business School, UK, he has previously held academic positions at institutions such as Xiamen University Malaysia, University of Newcastle, Australia, and BRAC University, Bangladesh. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Newcastle, Australia, an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka University, and a BSc in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology. Dr. In the industry, Dr. Chowdhury has worked with organizations like Grameen Phone Ltd. (the largest telecom operator in Bangladesh), Siemens BD Limited, and Millennium Information Solution Limited in various capacities, bringing a practical edge to his academic pursuits. A recipient of numerous awards and scholarships, including the XMUMRF and the UoN International Postgraduate Research Scholarship, he has made significant contributions to research with publications in esteemed journals. Dr. Chowdhury is also an active member of various professional associations and has been recognized for his teaching excellence at multiple institutions. Outside of his professional life, he has served as the President of the University of Newcastle Islamic Society and is a Red Belt holder in ITF Taekwondo.
