Nizhoni R. Marks

Nizhoni R. Marks , M.Ed., is a member of the Navajo Nation. Nizhoni received her Bachelor of Science Degree in American Indian Studies at Arizona State University in 2009. In 2011 she received her Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. She currently serves as the Associate Director for Native American Student Success at the University of Minnesota- Morris. Nizhoni was a doctoral student in the Ph.D. Indigenous Studies Program at Trent University in Ontario, Canada. Her research focused on Indigenous peoples, lands, and cultures, with an interdisciplinary focus on Indigenous Education.
