Nitin Pathak

Nitin Pathak is a Professor and HOD-Commerce in University School of Business-Chandigarh University. He uses participatory and innovative teaching methodologies for imparting knowledge capsules on the course curriculum. He has undertaken several development activities and is an active participant on several academic, administrative and research excellence committees. His forte is Accounting & Finance, and he has mentored research work on many topics from this domain for papers, case studies, chapters in books and several publications in referred journals. His research work has been presented and published as conference proceedings in multiple national and international conferences. He also has made many contributions to edited books. Dr Pathak is the mentor for several research scholars who are pursuing research on various topics in the domains of financial inclusion and entrepreneurship development. He has had tremendous experience in handling training and capacity building programmes at the national level. He has an innate expertise in team building, conducting surveys, analysis of data, competency enhancement and strategic planning. Dr Pathak has devoted 21 years as a profound academician, holding decision making positions in various committees, teams and clubs focused on making the institution as a center of excellence. As an intrepid teacher he has a natural flair for teaching and evaluating the efforts of all learners, he has supervised in his regular teaching. He has special techniques of assessment, and he is known to prepare questions and assignments that challenge the total classroom and self-study done by those being appraised. He is constantly updating his knowledge and keeps abreast with the latest developments in the fields of business, finance and management.
