Nirmalendu Kumar

Nirmalendu Kumar is currently working as a Director in a National Mapping Organization, Survey of India. He is a core Surveying and Mapping professional, having over 30+ year of experience in geospatial domain like, surveying and mapping, GIS, GPS, CORS, Remote Sensing and Spatial Data Infrastructure. He has M Tech in Surveying and Mapping from JNT University, Hyderabad and Master degree in geo-information Management from ITC, The Netherlands. He was actively associated in Delhi State Spatial Data Infrastructure (DSSDI) project and has a 5 years tenure in, NSDI, Department of science in Technology. He has published more than 5 research papers and is a member of many professional bodies like, Indian Society of Geomatics, computer Society of India and INCA. His area of interest is SDI, Geospatial Applications and application of AI in geospatial domain.
