Nikki Donnelly

Nikki Donnelly (she/her) received a Master's degree in Special Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Fresno Pacific University in Fresno, California. She also received California Teaching Credentials in Early Childhood Special Education and Moderate/Severe Disabilities from Fresno Pacific University. She is currently a Doctoral Student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying Special Education and Educational Policy and Organizational Leadership. Her research is focused on inclusive practices for students with autism. Nikki has served as a preschool and kindergarten special education teacher and administrator. She currently services as an Autism Consultant in Southern Oregon. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Professor at Fresno Pacific University and Portland State University. As a sibling to her autistic younger brother, Robby, Nikki also serves on the Board of Directors for the Sibling Leadership Network, the California Sibling Leadership Network, and the Oregon Sibling Leadership Network. She is also an Advisory Council Member for The Natalie Project. Through her research, professional, and personal roles, she strives to help prepare educational settings and the general public to be more inclusive to those that experience autism and other disabilities.
