Nicole Ray

Nicole Ray received her Ed.D. in Agricultural Education in 2019 through a joint program between Texas Tech and Texas A&M University. Prior to that, she started her career in agricultural education with 10 years of teaching experience in secondary school based agricultural education. Following her time in the classroom, she served as a Staff Development and Curriculum Specialist in STEM and College and Career Readiness within the County Office of Education, then an additional year of service as a districtwide science instructional coach. In 2020, she began supervising Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo Agriculture Credential candidates part time, and in 2022 full shifted her career toward teacher education with an Assistant Professorship in Agricultural Education at Fresno State University. In 2023, she returned to her ammeter, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo as an Assistant Professor, where she now Coordinates the Agriculture Teaching Credential Program and Ag Education Minor.
