Nelida Duran

Nelida Duran is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences and Director of the Health Equity Research and Education (HERE) Center. She is a registered dietitian and teaches in the area of nutrition and dietetics. Her research interests include arctic indigenous food systems, global environment change and its impact on food and nutrition security, the role of nutrition in eliminating health disparities, and the translation of nutritional genomics in clinical and public health nutrition.
