Neha Gupta

Neha Gupta has worked as an INSPIRE Faculty Fellow with the Department of Biosciences, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Prior to this, she was engaged as a SERB National Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Biosciences, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She completed her Ph.D. in Life Sciences from the Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS), Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Delhi. Her research domain is ‘thromboembolic disorders’; hypoxia-induced thrombosis: understanding triggers, targets, and treatments, antithrombotics, and thromboprohylactics. She has been awarded many prestigious awards including DST SERB Women Excellence Award, INSA Medal for Young Scientist, and NASI Young Scientist Platinum Jubilee Award. She has got several publications in various prestigious journals. She also got a few patents registered under her name. She is also associated with Indian Science Congress Association and the International Society on Thromboses and Haemostasis.
