Neeraj Anand

Neeraj Anand is working as a Professor and Dean at Chitkara Business School, Chitkara University, Punjab since Jan. 2023. His area of specialization is Supply Chain Management, Research Methodology and Operations. Other areas of interest are Entrepreneurship and Project Management. He has 27 year experience in academics and 3 years in industry. He has been instrumental in signing MoU with IATA in Nov. 2022 for Aviation/Hospitality/Business programmes. He has got one patent granted on “Multi-utility Neck Pillow” and another patent filed on “Natural Herbal Powder” with Chitkara Innovation and Incubation Foundation. Organized National Symposium on “Redesigning Supply Chain: Supply Chain: Agile and Sustainable” in April, 2022 supported by WASME and Logistics Insider as the media partner. He has published 15 book chapters in edited books/Springer/IGI Global and 35 research papers in refereed, UGC CARE, Scopus Indexed and ABDC journals. He is a certified Internal Auditor from DNV and has performed the role of Management Representative for ISO 9000 certification for UPES from its inception in 2006 to 2010 and again took over the charge in June 2013. He has successfully faced surveillance audits by DNV. He has been actively involved in Extension/Training and Coordinated an Executive Program for Centre for Aviation Studies for executives of University of Applied Science, Frankfurt a Resource person for “Supply Chain Management” for ISPe and delivered sessions on “Project Management” for engineering graduates of THDC, Tehri (U.K.) in 2011. He has conducted 4 MDPs on and Project Management and SCM. He carried out a research project with UHHDC (Uttrakhand Handloom & Handicraft Development Corporation) and another with a UREDA (Uttaranchal Renewable Energy Development Agency). Conducted ESDP (Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Program) sponsored by Ministry of MSME in partnership with Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Guwahati in 2010. Organized ICMI 2013 (International Conference on Management of Infrastructure) in Feb 2013. Convener of the national conference on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” in 2010. He is a life member of Society of Operations Management and an affiliate Member- Energy Institute, London (U.K). Member – DAAC and BOS (Board of Studies), Chitkara Business School.
