Nathan VanderVeen

Nathan VanderVeen received his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Biochemistry at the University of Michigan. He spent several years investigating novel therapeutics for pediatric brain cancers before pursuing a Fulbright in Brazil. He earned his medical degree from Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine and is currently completing his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics as a chief resident at the University of California, Los Angeles. He has a special interest in providing evidence-based and culturally-competent care to patients of underserved communities.
