Nataliia Buchko

Nataliia Buchko is a Master's student, pursuing her degree at the Erasmus Mundus Join Master Degree “International Master on Wine Tourism Innovations”. She graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism from Uzhhorod National University in Ukraine. Nataliia explored the tourism industry of Sweden with an emphasis on sustainability in her bachelor thesis. As well as her research about religious tourism in the Zakarpattia region specifically related to the Hassid pilgrimage has been published in the student collection. After working in the tourism industry, Nataliia became interested in wine tourism, which led her to narrow her focus on wine tourism development in her home region - Zakarpattia. She applied and successfully received an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship for her further education and research related to wine and tourism. After a year of studies and practical experiences in the wine tourism industry, she decided to focus her research interest on such topics as innovations in wine tourism, customer perception, design of wine labels, and customer behavior.
