Nadim Akhtar Khan

Nadim Akhtar Khan is Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kashmir, India. He has PhD in Library and Information Science, MLIS (Gold Medallist), and PGDCA. His research interests include Open Educational Resources, Metadata Harvesting and interoperability, Institutional Repositories, Digital Libraries and Cultural Heritage. He has attended and presented papers in many National and International Seminars including ICDL 2010, ETTLIS 2010, ICDK 2011, ICLAM 2011, and ICDL 2016. He bagged first position in Best Poster Award category ICDL 2013 for his poster presentation “KashCul: Towards Preserving Cultural Heritage through Digitisation”. The teacher has bagged best poster award in ICDL 2010 as well.He has authored many papers in reputed journals. He is associate editor of the Peer Reviewed and Indexed Journal “Trends in Information Management”.He is Deputy Administrator for Knowledge Repository Open Network (KNoor) an Open Access Repository harvesting and aggregating the scholarly products .
