Nada Tayem

Nada Tayem is a teaching associate and a doctoral candidate in English Literature and Criticism at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her scholarly work is distinguished by its interdisciplinary approach and global perspective, with a research focus on environmental feminism, place, and belonging in the writings of the Caribbean and Middle East. she began her academic journey in Jordan, where she earned her B.A. and M.A. in English Literature before pursuing her research in the US. With over a decade of teaching experience, Nada has taught in various educational settings in higher education. Her expertise spans teaching and translation, instructing undergraduates in English literature, writing composition, and language learning, including UN programs.Beyond her academic pursuits, she is deeply committed to community service. She has held leadership positions in various academic organizations and dedicated her time to support English language learners and refugees in the US.
