N. Umasankari

N. Umasankari is a Research Scholar at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University), Chennai, TamilNadu. She received her B.E. degree in Information Technology from the erstwhile Periyar Maniammai College of Technology for Women, TamilNadu. M.Tech. degree in Information Technology from the erstwhile Sathyabama University, Chennai, TamilNadu, in 2011, and also M.B.A. degree in General, from Alagappa Unversity, in 2008. She has 17 years of teaching experience. At various times in her career, she has taught, full-time in various reputed universities from 2003 to 2016 in Tamil Nadu and Produced 100% result. She has been a life time professional membership in CSI chapter. Under her Guidance one team was selected for CSI-In-App 7th National level competition. Prepared and Co-ordinated the DST proposal as a role of R&D In-charge in 2018 for reputed institution in Hyderabad. She acted as a technical committee member in reviewing and guiding for internal and external UG and PG projects under reputed universities in Tamil Nadu and guided UG projects in Hyderabad since 2017. She has approximately 10 conference publications and 5 international journal publications. She has published 2 National Patents. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor at School of Computing, Department of CSE, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India. Her current research interests include Multimodal Biometrics, Image Processing, Network Security, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Secured data transmission on IoT Devices.
