Mustafa Aksoy

Mustafa Aksoy has graduated Gazi University Faculty of Vocational Education-Tourism Management and Hotel Management Teaching (1991), Gazi University Institute of Social Sciences-Tourism Management and Hotel Management Education Master’s program (1998), Gazi University Educational Sciences Institute-Tourism Management and Hospitality Education Doctorate Program (2008). After his duties within the Ministry of National Education of Türkiye, he started his academic life in Gazi University Tourism Faculty Gastronomy and Culinary Arts department in 2012. He still works as a Faculty Member in Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Tourism Faculty Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department and as the Deputy Dean of the same faculty. He teaches Gastronomy and Food History, Spice and Coffee Culture, Korean Culinary Culture, Molecular Gastronomy, Philosophy of Gastronomy and Cultural Foundations at undergraduate and graduate levels. He has been involved in the execution of various projects, including “Korean Cuisine” with the HANSIK Foundation and the Korean Cultural Center, “Molecular Gastronomy” from the European Union funds, and “Balköy” from the Ankara Development Agency fund in recent years. Under his supervision, 12 master’s theses and 8 doctoral theses were completed. 9 Consultancy studies for the doctoral thesis continue. More than 50 articles and papers have been published by AKSOY, which has books such as Korean Culinary Culture, African Food Culture, Molecular Gastronomy and book chapters on various subjects.
