Muhammad Ehsan Rana

Muhammad Ehsan Rana is an accomplished academic professional with over 20 years of experience in academic management, lecturing, and quality assurance. He holds a PhD in Software Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia, as well as additional qualifications including a PGD in Quality Management, an MSc in Mathematics, and a Master's degree in Computer Science. He has been associated with the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) Malaysia since December 2008, currently serving as an Associate Professor. His responsibilities encompass teaching, research and engagement with industry and professional bodies. Prior to his academic career, Dr Ehsan worked as a Software Quality Manager for an international software development company specializing in ERP solutions. In this role, he successfully managed and implemented organization-wide quality policies, quality assurance plans, and risk management strategies. As an active researcher, Dr Ehsan focuses on areas such as Software Architecture, Cloud Computing, IoT, and Blockchain. He has made significant contributions to the field, having authored and co-authored more than 100 journal papers, conference publications, and book chapters. He also serves as a reviewer for various indexed journals and has actively participated in organizing IEEE and other international conferences.
