Mogiveny Rajkoomar

Mogiveny Rajkoomar has an educational background as follows: PhD (LIS); MIM; BInfo; BA; HED. She currently serves as a Senior lecturer and Programme coordinator in the Information Systems Department at the Durban University of Technology. She is passionate about Teaching, Learning and Research. She is currently involved in the supervision of PhD and Masters Students in the fields of information science, information management, information systems and information technology. She is currently the Acting Faculty Research coordinator for the Faculty of Accounting and Informatics. She serves on the following committees: Information and Technology Committee; Library Committee; Higher Degrees Committee, Institutional Research and Innovation Committee, Institutional Research Ethics Committee, Faculty Research Ethics Committee, Scholarship Committee and Conference funding Committee . Her research interest is in information and communication technologies, e-learning, digital pedagogies; cloud computing; carbon literacy and decision support systems.
