Miranda Tahalele

Miranda Paulina Tahalele is a faculty member in the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Humanities, Bina Nusantara (BINUS) University. She received her PhD in Anthropology (Development Studies) from the Australian National University (ANU). Her main research topics are the political economy of international development cooperation and the globalised world of foreign aid, with a focus on Indonesia’s South–South Cooperation and North - South Relations. She has previously worked as, among others, consultant for G20 Empower – Indonesia Presidency at the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection (2021-2022), development practitioner with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and at the Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS).
