Mira Zimet

Mira Zimet is a documentary filmmaker and founder of the award-winning web series, The Storyboard Project, a digital story archive of video narratives from people impacted by foster care. She most recently served as chief creative content officer at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She has spent the past 14 years producing, directing and editing videos that bring to life the great work that goes on at the University of Southern California. Before coming to the university, Mira served for over twelve years as an independent writer/producer on documentaries and educational videos. In 2002, she received an Emmy nomination in the education category. Additionally, Mira has received 15 CASE (Council for the Advancement and Support of Education) awards (both national and regional), including six gold. She was recently honored with a FosterMorey “Content Creator of the Year” award by the Foster More organization.
