Miquel Àngel Essomba

Miquel Angel Essomba Gelabert is a highly experienced researcher and teacher, with an expertise on intercultural education, inclusive education and community education. I am currently professor and researcher at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, as well as the director of the Chair on Community Education. At the former, I trained teachers on diversity management, inclusion and interculturality. I was also the director of the first Master’s on Intercultural Education in the region of Barcelona in 2007. I have regularly collaborated with international institutions on teacher training and cultural diversity, such as UNESCO, the Council of Europe, the European Commission, the OECD, the Anna Lindh Foundation and the Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos.
