Michael King

Michael KingMichael King holds a PhD from Queensland University of Technology, Australia. Currently, he is a faculty member at Griffith University Australia. Michael is a Financial Crime, Money Laundering, and Criminology specialist who researches illicit financial flows, white-collar and financial crime, policing, corruption and regulatory offenses. Prior to accepting a role at Griffith University Michael taught at the esteemed Australian Graduate School of Policing and Security, Charles Sturt University, where he was the Convenor for a number of financial crime subjects including: Criminology of Financial Crime, Forensic Accounting and Corporate Governance. Michael was a sessional lecturer within the Bachelor of Justice program in the Faculty of Law, School of Justice Queensland University of Technology. Michael was awarded the QUT Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award for this research on the policing of economic crime by Australian corporate investigators.
