Michael Bittinger

Michael Bittinger serves as Assistant Director in Purdue University’s Office of Programs for Study Abroad. In over two decades in international education he has weaved a unique job description that includes program design & administration, curriculum design & instruction, research, advising, and marketing. When he isn't recruiting students to study abroad, he is either preparing them to do so, or leading a program himself. He received a bachelor’s from the University of Kansas after studying in Paris, France and Florence, Italy. Since 2011 he has headed Purdue's Global Leadership programs for first-year students.
