Micaela Demichela is an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Science and Technology of Politecnico di Torino. PhD in Chemical Engineering, both for teaching and research she operates in the field of process and occupational safety and environment and territories protection. She is in the Board of Directors of the ESReDa Association (European Safety, Reliability and Data) and in the Scientific Board of the R3C (Responsible Risk Resilience Centre) Inter Department Centre at Politecnico di Torino.
