Mehmet Levent Erdas holds a PhD in Business Administration from Suleyman Demirel University, Turkey. He started his professional career as a revenue expert with the Finance Ministry. He is currently Assoc. Prof. Dr. at Akdeniz University, Turkey, Department of Economics and Finance. His research interests include application of econometric and optimisation methods for the study of economics and finance. He published numerous research papers in that fields.
