Kausar Alam is working as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at BRAC Business School, BRAC University. He completed PhD from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). His research interests are accounting, Shariah governance, institutional theory, Islamic banking, legitimacy theory, corporate governance, integrated reporting, working capital management, and qualitative research. His research works were published in APE, MDE, JAAR, ARA, Pacific Accounting Review, JIABR, AJAR, JPA, and QROM.
