Mazal Oaknín

Mazal Oaknín (FHEA) is Associate Professor (Teaching) and Spanish Language Coordinator at University College London, where she teaches Spanish language, literature and translation at UG and PG levels. She is the Project Lead of the “Tackling the BAME-BIPOC Awarding Gap” project and the “Fighting the BIPOC Awarding Gap Project Through Reverse Mentoring” project, as well as the co-director of the e-Expert Seminar Series in Translation and Modern Language Education” (UCL and University of Córdoba). Mazal is the co-editor of Literatura política y política literaria en España: Del Desastre del 98 a Felipe VI (Peter Lang, 2015) and author of Writing, Feminism and the Media in Spain (Peter Lang, 2019). Her co-edited volume Innovation in Translation Education: A New Focus on EDI will appear in UCL Press in 2024.
