Maureen Syallow

Maureen Syallow has extensive experience in media and conflict studies. She has a Masters Degree in International Studies from the University of Nairobi and a PhD in Mass Communication (Media and Conflict) from Jomo Kenyatta Univesity of Agriculture and Technology. Among the courses she has taught are political science, international studies, media and conflict, research methods among others. Maureen is the Research Director at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Strathmore University, Nairobi, Kenya. She coordinates research activities in the School. She is also in charge of identifying research collaborations between the School and other institutions. Her research interests are in media and conflict, media and diplomacy, international studies, and political science.
