Marysia Mara Rodrigues do Prado De Carlo is an Occupational Therapist, Associate Professor of the Occupational Therapy Course, Department of Health Sciences, Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP). Supervisor of the Postgraduate Programme in Public Health Nursing, Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing School, USP (EERP-USP). Master's and Doctorate from UNICAMP, specialization in Palliative Care from Pallium Latinoamerica, Argentina. She has completed 2 postdoctoral programs (FMUSP, 2005 and EEUSP, 2017) with internships abroad. Tutor of the Multidisciplinary Cancer Care Residency Program at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (HCFMRP-USP) and the League of Spirituality in Health and Palliative Care (LESCP) of USP-Ribeirão Preto. Head of the Research Group “Laboratory of Human Activity and Palliative Care” at USP-RP, accredited in the CNPq Group Directory. Vice-coordinator of the ANCP Academic Leagues Committee and member of the Board of Directors of the National Academy of Palliative Care of São Paulo (ANCP-SP - Management 2022-23). She was a member of the Occupational Therapy Task Force of the European Association of Palliative Care (EAPC) and is currently a member of the Rehabilitation in Palliative Care Taskforce of the EAPC.
