Mary Jo “Jody” Hirschy

Mary Jo “Jody” Hirschy , Ph.D., serves as the Associate Dean of Business and Leadership at Taylor University. She recently assumed this role after having served as Chair of the Taylor University Business Department. Hirschy has been as a member of the business faculty at Taylor University since 2004, where she was awarded both the Dr. Joe Burnworth Teaching Excellence Award in 2008 and Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership Award in 2020. Prior to joining Taylor University, she served in a variety of marketing communications roles at Bechtel, London; Time Inc., Chicago; and Leo Burnett, Chicago. Hirschy earned her Ph.D. in Global Leadership from Regent University, an M.A. in corporate and multi-cultural communication from DePaul University, and B.A. in communications arts and sciences from DePauw University.
