Mark S. Hainline

Mark S. Hainline is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Education at Sam Houston State University (SHSU). Dr. Hainline is the Lead Agricultural Teacher Educator at SHSU and serves as the Superintendent / Host of all State Leadership Development Events (LDE) in Texas. Dr. Hainline earned his B.S. at SHSU and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Texas Tech University (TTU). His research agenda is focused on the professional development needs of agricultural science teachers associated with technical skill acquisition and educational law competency. Dr. Hainline and his co-author, Dr. Trent Wells, were awarded the Journal of Agricultural Education Outstanding Article (First Runner-up) in 2022.
