Marimuthu Karuppiah

Marimuthu Karuppiah received his B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India in 2003, M.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India in 2005, Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from VIT University, Vellore, India in 2015. Presently, he is a Professor in Department of Computing Science and Engineering, Presidency University, Bengaluru, India. Before joining SRMIST, he was with the VIT University, Vellore, India as an Associate Professor. He has published more than 30 research papers in SCI indexed journals. Also, he has published more than 40 research papers in SCOPUS indexed journals and international conferences. He is a life member of Cryptology Research Society of India (CRSI) and Computer Society of India (CSI), senior member of IEEE and member of ACM. His main research interests include cryptography and wireless network security, in particular, authentication and encryption schemes.
