Marilyn C. Montgomery, GISP, earned her Ph.D. in Geography and Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida, Tampa, in August 2014. She earned her GISP (Geographic Information Systems Professional) certification in January 2012. Her research interests include coastal flood hazards, social vulnerability, environmental justice, and geographic information science.
