Maria Clara Viegas

Maria Clara Viegas holds a PhD in Science and Technology and a MSc in Mechanical Engineering. Currently she is an Adjunct Professor in Polytechnic of Porto – School of Engineering (ISEP), Porto, Portugal. Researcher in CIETI Research Centre - Centre for Innovation in Engineering and Industrial Technology. Former member of the Pedagogical Council and Vice-Head of Physics Department at ISEP. Participant in several national and international research projects. Invited chair in International Conferences and referee in JCR journals. Author of several papers in international scientific journals, book chapters and international conferences with peer review. Her present research interests are: Engineering Education; Physics Didactics; Science and Technological Education Research, in particular Teacher mediation of student learning and Teaching practices Teacher professional development; Remote Labs Learning Outcomes.
