Marcela Hebbard

Marcela Hebbard is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley where she teaches composition, linguistic and teacher preparedness courses. Her research interests include online writing pedagogies, language and mixed race identities, first-year composition, and writing across the curriculum. She has co-author multiple book chapters and several articles in academic journals. She holds five master’s degrees, one doctoral degree in Women’s Studies, and is currently a PhD Candidate (ABD) in the Composition and Applied Linguistics Program at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
