María Isabel Doval Ruiz

Maria Isabel Doval , PhD, serves as Vice-Rector at Universidade de Vigo, leading the Social Responsibility and EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) strategies since 2018. An Associate Professor in Psychopedagogy at the Faculty of Education and Social Work, her expertise spans inclusion, rural development, and good governance. With a notable background in public administration, including roles such as Deputy Director General of Galician Universities and part of the ACSUG management team, her work focuses on enhancing the quality of Galician HEIs.
