María Elena Mora-Mora

María Elena Mora holds a degree in English Philology and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Alicante, Spain. She completed her Master’s in Intercultural Education at the UNED in 2022. Currently a PhD candidate at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, Ms. Mora’s research interests encompass diversity and inclusion in education, migration governance applied to education contexts, and education in emergencies. With nearly fifteen years of teaching experience in international schools across Asia, Europe and the Middle East, her passion for equity in education and her extensive global teaching experiences have propelled her research towards exploring the intersections of intercultural competence, active citizenship in refugee settings and teacher’s professional development.
