Mansour Assaf

Mansour Assaf (M'02) received the Honors degree in applied physics from the Lebanese University, Beirut, Lebanon, and the B.A.Sc., M.A.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Ottawa, Ottawa, ON, Canada.,From 2003 to 2006, he was with the Sensing and Modeling Research Laboratory, University of Ottawa, as a Research Fellow. He is currently an Assistant Professor of information technology and communications with the University of Trinidad and Tobago, Arima, Trinidad and Tobago. His research interests include computer architecture, computer networks, fault-tolerant computing, and fault diagnosis in mixed-signal systems, including system-on-chip design and test. He has published 12 journal papers and over 20 conference articles.,Dr. Assaf is a member of the IEEE Computer Society and the Canadian Mathematical Society. He served as a session Cochair of a number of international conferences on computing techniques and has been a reviewer of several internationally known journals such as the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement and the IASTED Journal of Computers and Applications.(Based on document published on 12 May 2008).
