Manoj Tiwari

Manoj Tiwari is associated with the Department of Fashion Technology of National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kannur, India. Prof. Tiwari is a Textile Engineer (batch of 2003, University of Rajasthan), Masters of Fashion Technology, and a Ph.D. from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi. He has more than 17 years of industry and academic experience including teaching, industrial training, research and development, and consultancy in India and abroad. He has contributed to several consultancy projects including experience in leading an international project involving capacity building and consultancy in manufacturing and production management. He has presented and published over 60 research papers and articles in conferences and journals. The books “Industrial Engineering in Apparel Manufacturing: Practitioner’s Handbook” (ISBN: 9788193247204) and “Lean Tools in Apparel Manufacturing” (ISBN: 9780128194270, published by Elsevier, UK) have been co-authored and co-edited with Prof. Prabir Jana, NIFT Delhi. He has also been involved in the prestigious INDIAsize project (National Sizing Survey of India) as a Core Team member. His key areas of interest include Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Ergonomics, Sizing & Anthropometry, Apparel Technology Management, and Natural Textiles.
