Manish Sharma

Manish Sharma completed his Ph.D. with thesis title “Design of Passive Microwave Components and Antenna with DGS on Si Substrate” from Banasthali Vidyapith in 2017. He holds M Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Karnataka (2007). He also holds Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from Mangalore University, Karnataka which he completed in the year 2000 with specialization Electronics and Communication Engineering. He has more than 20 years of experience in Research/Teaching/Administration field. He has guided/guiding 10 Ph.D. scholars (Completed: 2 student, On-going: 8 students). At the Masters and Bachelors level, he has guided more than 15 students. His expertise is in RF & Microwave where he has depth knowledge of simulators (HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, Advance Design Studio) and also have knowledge related to characterization of Microwave Components. He has also filed patent in field of RFID technologies. He has also won “Certificate of Appreciation” for publishing articles in high impact journal for the academic session 2018-2019 at SGT University. He was Session Chair in many IEEE Conferences held across India and won the best presentation award at WECON 2018, Chitkara University. He was an active member in Board of Studies for three consecutive years from 2017-2019 at SGT University, Gurugram, India. He has delivered invited talks at reputed universities and engineering colleges across India. He has published more than 100 research papers in reputed journals/IEEE Conference with high impact factor and h-index. He won best teacher award for two consecutive years (2013 & 2012) at Aravali College of Engineering & Management, Faridabad, India. Due to his passion for research, he is also exploring new opportunities in different fields including IoT, Neural Network, Wireless Sensor Network and Machine Learning.
