Mamta Pal

Mamta Pal is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Forensic Science, Amity School of Applied Sciences, Amity University, Haryana. Prior to this, she worked as Senior Research Scientist in Herbal Chemistry of Drug Discovery & Development Division at Patanjali Research Institute, Haridwar. Earlier, she worked as Associate Professor in Centurion University of Technology and Management, Bhubaneswar; Jain University, Bangalore; Galgotia University, Greater Noida. She is doctorate in Life Sciences from Defence Institute of Physiology & Allied Sciences (DIPAS), DRDO, Delhi. During her Ph. D., she worked in the discipline of phytochemistry and her work was to characterize the phytoconstituents present in Cordyceps sinensis which are responsible for their antioxidant properties and to evaluate them for their protective efficacy under hypoxic environment. She has also worked as Research officer at LNJP-National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, Delhi prior to Ph.D.
